David D. Rosenau, 80, Belle Fourche, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Monument Health Spearfish.
David was born January 9, 1942, in Bottineau, ND, to Otto and Ruth (Barrett) Rosenau. He grew up in the Bottineau area, then going to work at the Home Stake Mine in Lead, SD, retiring after over 40 years of service. David loved playing pool, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Yvonne Rosenau, Belle Fourche; daughter, Mary Rosenau, Rapid City; son, Brian Rosenau, Lake Andes, SD; siblings; Kenneth Rosenau, Cora Dorcas Seil, JoAnn Bjerke, Harold Rosenau, Bertha Hammond, and Shirley Beckman; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, SD.
