She was born Oct. 9, 1948, in Stoneham, Mass., to Donald and Marjorie Edwards. When she was a child, her family moved to Lisbon Falls, Maine, where she lived until she graduated high school. She eventually left that career to start working at Walmart Pharmacy, where she worked for many years before leaving to take care of her grandson. She was the proud grandma of three, Ethan Edwards, and Kelsa and Andrew Edwards, all of Spearfish.  Besides being a grandmother, she loved reading, word finds, and cross stitching in her free time.
