Winter’s Fat Bike Classic results announced

DEADWOOD — Racers from eight divisions claimed top honors at the Winter’s Fat Bike Classic held Feb. 6, in Deadwood in Deadwood.

All racers started in downtown Deadwood and used a path including large portions of the Mickelson Trail. They rode distances of 15 or 24 miles.

Winners of the 15-mile races were Ardan Fischer (Kids’ 17-and-under division), Diana Reth (Ladies’ Open), Will Lind (Men’s 39-and-under), and Josh Dailey (Men’s 40-and-over). A total of 36 riders competed at that distance.

Riley Besler (Kids’ 17-and-under), Erin Caton (Ladies’ Open), Trevor Rockwell (Men’s 39-and-under), and James Meyer (Men’s 40-and-over) claimed top honors in their respective 24-mile divisions. That distance featured 56 riders.
