STURGIS — The fourth week of Music on Main and Regional Health Mountain Bike series attracted approximately 175 bike enthusiast that raced 13 miles and a large crowd to listen to October Road. 

Nate Keck, of Spearfish, won the race in record time of 45 minutes 30 secconds followed by James Meyer of Spearfish with a time of 55 minutes 15 seconds.

Keck and Meyer have each won two races so are tied in the point standing through week four. Calvin Cammack, Sturgis, placed fourth with a time of 58.57. 

“We have about 345 racers registered in this years series which is way ahead of last year’s,” said DJ Brink, Xtreme Dakota Bicycles. “A big up and coming racer this season is Calvin Cammack, he was chasing the leaders last week and ended up in third.”   

Week five of the series will be held on Wednesday, and will feature music artist 32 Below, and fireworks will go off around 9:30 p.m.
