Belle Fourche drops home opener in OT

BELLE FOURCHE — Belle Fourche opened its football season Friday night by falling 42-41 in overtime to Vermillion at Lou Graslie Field, in Belle Fourche.

“That is a scrappy bunch of kids from Vermillion,” said Broncs’ head coach Scott Slotten, whose team led 35-14 at halftime. “They did what they needed to do to win.”
