NORTHERN HILLS — The Northern Hills are abuzz with the sound of motorcycles as thousands take to the Black Hills roadways to enjoy rides, races, concerts, and more during the 79th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, which officially kicked off Friday and goes through Sunday, Aug. 11. Tonight, there will be free showing of the movie, “Easy Rider” — one of the most iconic motorcycle movies, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year — at 9:30 p.m. at Harley-Davidson Point, on the corner of Harley Davidson Way and Main Street, Sturgis.
