Jackknifed semi truck and trailer blocks I-90

A semi truck and trailer jackknifed Friday morning blocking the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 west of Exit 17. The accident occurred just east of the Airport Road underpass. According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. when wind blew the trailer sideways and the truck sliding then jackknifing. Traffic was rerouted west along Colorado Boulevard and the interstate should be open around 9 or 10 a.m. There were no injuries. Pioneer photo by Mark Watson
