Greater Belle Fourche Funds awarded

BELLE FOURCHE — On Jan. 10, $17,010.15 worth of First Interstate Greater Belle Fourche Funds were awarded to 20 local organizations. The First Interstate Greater Belle Fourche Fund partnered with the South Dakota Community Foundation in 1989 as a way of supporting nonprofit and charitable projects and organizations in and around the community. 

The fund is a permanent endowment with the South Dakota Community Foundation and managed by a local board of directors. The organizations allocated funds include: Belle Fourche Bronc Booster Club; Township of Vale/Vale Volunteer Fire Department; St. James Episcopal Church/Delta Dental Mobile; Newell School District; Beaver Creek Rendezvous; Belle Baseball Association; Realtors for Kids; Belle Fourche Soccer Association; Belle Fourche Youth Baseball; Northern Hills Area CASA Program; Belle Fourche Parents Who Care/Post Prom; Belle Fourche Area Community Center/Camp Oasis Scholarship; Belle Fourche Senior Citizens Center; Black Hills Roundup Chutes for Charity; Sun Catcher Therapeutic Riding Academy; Girl Scouts — Dakota Horizons; Newell Community Club/Parents Who Care Post Prom; Newell Community Club/Labor Day Rodeo Committee; Center of the Nation Concert Association; and Good Shepherd Clinic.
