First Interstate Bank teaching kindergartners to save money

Kristen Robeson, Jenny Yackley and Machelle Clark visited Mountain View Elementary School recently and worked with 185 kindergarteners. Rotating throughout the school, these volunteers read a story about saving money. The kids then had an opportunity to explore both American and foreign currency and participate in activities related to estimation, value and counting. Students were left with a goody bag to bring home and an introduction to what money is and simple ways to start saving it. Courtesy photo
