BELLE FOURCHE — TransCanada officials have said they will not construct a temporary workforce camp, also known as a man camp, in Butte County. But that’s not stopping the Butte County Board of Commission from taking precaution against other potential company-run, independent, or private man camps that may pop up within the county.

Bud Anderson, an independent contractor for TransCanada, came before the board Tuesday to provide information, answer questions, and dispel myths regarding group workforce complexes so the board could more easily establish ordinances regarding man camps.
