More than 50 gathered Saturday night at the Historic Homestake Opera House to partake in an "All Around the World" theme for Lead-Deadwood High School’s prom. The young ladies and men displaying an array of stunning color combinations, the opera house stage was lit up with the promise of youth and bright futures ahead. Prom royalty, included, from left, Madison Andersen, Sydney Auld, Taylor Beagle, Bea Campos, Allie Specht, Dillon Burns, Colt Bradley, Chris Engel, Brett Mattson, and Riley Stokes, with Specht crowned Prom Queen and Mattson Prom King.
