THE CITY OF LEAD is taking applications for the city administrator position. The Lead City Administrator oversees all operations of the City of Lead, including Public Safety and Public Works. This is a full-time position with competitive wages and benefits. Decision making and leadership expertise are paramount for the qualified candidate. The Lead City Administrator manages the Lead City Office and must possess strong financial, communication and computer skills. Strong financial skills include budgeting, revenues, expenditures and reporting. Competent communication skills are required, both verbal and written. Computer skills include a strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs and capabilities in GIS and mapping. A minimum of three years in management or administration is highly recommended.
