BELLE FOURCHE — The Black Hills Roundup merchandise committee has created a special belt buckle to honor the famed rodeo’s 100th anniversary in 2019. Only 100 of the buckles were produced and each is numbered on the back.

Although there have been other items created to note the Roundup’s annual event, the committee believes this is the first time that a commemorative belt buckle has been made.

The buckles can be purchased by calling Betty Jo Hoffman at 569-2376 and then picked up at the Tri-State Museum and Visitor Center at 415 Fifth Ave., in Belle Fourche. The cost is $175 plus tax, and orders picked up at the Tri-State need to be paid for with cash or check.
