Sturgis Middle School closed for the week

STURGIS - There will be no school at Sturgis Williams Middle School for the rest of the week. The building suffered snow damage. There will also be no school at the rural attendance centers of Meade School District for the rest of this week.

School will be in session at the other schools in Meade School District.

A meeting for the parents and students of Sturgis Williams Middle School will be held at 6:30 p.m. this Thursday, Oct. 10, in the west gym at Sturgis Brown High School to discuss the future use of the middle school building.

Parent teacher conferences for Sturgis Williams Middle School and Sturgis Brown High School have been canceled for this week. The conferences for both schools have been rescheduled for 4-8 p.m. Oct. 17 at the high school.

All elementary school conferences will be held this week as scheduled.
